At night some people enjoy turning on the TV and watching something to relax, I much rather turn on the laptop and fire up a game. Consoles? Not for me? First person shooters, not as much anymore. Now if we start talking strategy games, RPG's, and MMO's we may have something to discuss.
Some of my recent favorites include Civilization, Guild Wars 2, Dragon Age, and Skyrim to name a few. The list is much larger but that small sample gives you an idea of what I have recently played and the types of games I will be discussing.
The whole purpose of this Blog will be to discus the games I enjoy in a casual way. I am not hardcore or elitist and tend to shy away from those that are. I play to have fun and escape the daily grind for an hour or two, sometimes longer. I have a job and a family so my time commitment to both the blog and gaming mirrors my play style; Casual.
Please forgive my grammar, since that was the weakest subject throughout my education. Welcome to The Casual Gamer and my soon to be rambling content.
